Indoor sports
High and often
repetitive stress and strain to the
forefoot typically occurs with jumping, turning
and stopping movements, especially in basketball,
handball and volleyball. Together with
lengthy periods under load this means that your forefoot
becomes increasingly stressed. This can lead to
overexertion on typical sites of the foot, such as the
ball of the big toe. As a consequence, increased callus
and blister formation are foreseeable.
